Two synchronized cameras, with the exact same magnifications, capture the real stereo image of the particle. The upper camera computes the size, shape and colour of each particle. At the same time, the side camera computes the particles profile. A powerful algorithm, using both images, computes the real volume based on length, depth, and thickness. It then uses these measurements to recreate the entire particle in 3D.
With Occhio Morpho 3D you can measure:
- Particle size
- Real particle 3D (particle width, length and thickness)
- Particle shape
- Particle colour
Data and images of every single particle are stored in an Occhio binary database. Callisto 3D is the newest software version developed by our engineers.
